Prague,(ST)-The former Czech member of the European Parliament, Jan Keller, confirmed that the military interventions carried out by the West in many countries of the Middle East, including Syria, Iraq and Libya, had caused catastrophic results.
Keller said in an article published in the Czech newspaper Bravo that “Western intervention in Syria and Libya led to disastrous results at all levels, while the war launched by the United States on Iraq led to the emergence of the terrorist organization ISIS and other extremist organizations,” pointing out that the West intervened several times in the countries of the region under false pretenses and all ended in complete failure..
He pointed out that these interventions led to the destabilization of security and stability, the deaths of hundreds of thousands of victims, the displacement of millions, and the emergence of a huge wave of refugees to Europe.
