Kan’ani: Israeli entity is based on crimes and attacks

Iran has renewed its strong condemnation of the Israeli attacks on Syria and other countries of the region, reiterating that since its establishment, the Israeli entity has been based on crimes and attacks supported by the United States amid the deadly silence of the international community and international organizations.

Spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Nasser Kan’ani said during a news conference on Monday that Iran’s position on this entity is clear based on its complete rejection of Israel’s participation in the policies of the region. He pointed out that recent opinion polls have proved that most peoples of the region are against normalization with this criminal entity.

Kan’ani also said that the summit of the Guarantor States of Astana Process on Syria in Tehran was successful as the guarantors reaffirmed their commitment to respecting Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and to solving the conflicts through dialogue.

He stressed his country’s rejection of the claims about “Tehran’s interference” in the affairs of the countries of the region, pointing out Iran considers the security of the region’s countries as its own security.

“We have played a positive role in fighting terrorism in Iraq, Syria, a role that reflected positively on other countries,” he pointed out
