Kanaani: The Zionist entity continues with its plan aimed at imposing famine in Gaza

Tehran, (ST) – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani on Tuesday said that the Zionist entity is proceeding with its plan aimed at forcing  famine in Gaza Strip.

IRNA quoted Kanaani as saying that referring to the attack on the aid convoy of the non-governmental organization World Central Kitchen: The organized crimes will strengthen the will of the countries of the world to support the Palestinian people. He pointed out that the attack calls for global condemnation.

Kanaani added: This crime confirms once again that the Zionist entity is continuing its plan to impose famine and targeted killing of defenseless civilians, and the deliberate targeting of international relief teams, humanitarian and non-governmental organizations. He said  that this anti-humanitarian approach clearly indicates the entity’s lack of commitment to any from international standards and regulations, as well as global ethical and humanitarian standards.

The World Central Kitchen relief organization announced today the killing of seven of its employees in an Israeli strike on Gaza Strip, and the suspension of its operations in the region.
