Kanaani: Syrian-Iranian Relations Are Strategic and Deep-rooted

Tehran (ST) – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani  has affirmed that the Syrian-Iranian relations are strategic and deep.

During his weekly press conference, Kanaani indicated that the talks between the two countries are constructive and continuing at the highest diplomatic levels.

He pointed out that the West makes statements to provoke other countries and it exploits the recent events in Iran to take showy measures to serve its interests.

Regarding his country’s foreign diplomacy, Kanaani reaffirmed that Iran’s policy is consistent as regards to strengthening its relations with other countries.
