Kamalvandi: The West’s support is the main reason for the continuation of the crimes of the Zionist entity

Spokesman for the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization, Behrouz Kamalvandi considered that immunity from punishment due to Western countries’ support for the Zionist entity is the main reason for the Zionist ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
IRNA quoted Kamalvandi as saying in an article: “Zionism’s crimes and the ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people are mainly caused by the Zionist entity’s feeling of immunity from any punishment against the crime Israel commits,” stressing that “the threat to use nuclear weapons and the continued development of nuclear weapons is the result of the immunity provided by Western countries and America for the Zionist entity to escape punishment for its crimes against humanity, genocide, and war crimes that Israel commits.”
Kamalvandi added: “The veto that America used more than once in order to support the entity’s crimes provided Israel with immunity from its war crimes and genocide operations, as Western countries provide Israel with various types of weapons, support and backup, including developing nuclear weapons and building an arsenal of hundreds of nuclear warheads.” pointing out that “these countries announced to the world that they know no limits to their support for this criminal entity and will not reduce this support no matter what the circumstances.”
