Kamalondi: The removal of the arms embargo points to a better step in Iranian diplomacy

A spokesman for the Iranian Nuclear Energy Organization, Behrouz Kamalondi, has said that the end of the arms restrictions that were imposed on his country constituted a good start for international responses in the face of American violations and the continuation of confronting Washington’s behavior and opposition to international law.

“ The firm response of the international community against the resumption of the arms embargo on Iran is a good step because the world is not ready to tolerate more unilateral tendencies based on the policy of bullying on the part of America,”Fars News Agency quoted Kamalondi as saying in a statement on October 18.

 

Kamalondisaid that the world knows very well that none of the flimsy charges against Iran have been proven regarding the nuclear file.

Kamalondi stressed that the US policy of pressure on Iran had not achieved any result other than further isolation of the United States and breaking its satanic policy.

On October 17, the Iranian Foreign Ministry announced the end of the international arms embargo on Tehran, indicating that this order would allow Iran to import and export weapons and conduct financial transactions related to that in accordance with its defense policies.
