Minister of Justice Najm Hamad al-Ahmad has announced the formation of a judicial committee to document crimes perpetrated by armed gangs in Aleppo province, pointing out that a document of 10.000 pages about armed gangs’ practices in the country has been made and translated into English and French.
He told Damascus-based al-Watan newspaper- on the sideline of symposium held Monday by the ministry- that international judicature is still politicized and the goal of filing lawsuit is to prove the involvement of some countries and organizations in the crimes perpetrated by armed gangs.
“The lawsuit will be filed first in national courts and then in regional and international ones in accordance with an article in the international law,” the minister clarified, asserting that the battle in courts is very complicated because there will be a confrontation with the international community, which destroyed infrastructure and killed thousands of innocent persons in Syria through gangs that came to the country from all over the world with regional and international support.
On the other hand, Al-Ahmad indicated that symposiums being held by the ministry of justice include experienced political thinkers and address judges and lawyers.
“Terrorism has no religion or morality and it hits everyplace,” the minister concluded.
Aggression on Syria is Zionist goal
In this context, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that the participants in Monday’s symposium stressed that aggression on Syria is a strategic Zionist goal because Zionists realize that the existence of their entity [Israel] and its expansion is dependent on weakening Syria that remained refractory to their conspiracies.
The agency added that the final statement of the symposium, which was held under the slogan ‘New World Order’, affirmed that Syrian people’s steadfastness fired bullet of mercy at unilateral pole in the world.
It quoted Secretary of Palestinian Resistance Forces Alliance Khalid Abdul Majed as saying that the policy of the new US Administration serves the Zionist enemy and the only way to confront this is through further steadfastness and resistance.
“Syria’s victories will be reflected positively on refreshing resistance in order to support the Palestinian cause,” Abdul Majed added.
On his part, Dr. Salim Barakat from Damascus University said that Astana meeting is not an alternative to the Geneva talks and some armed terrorist groups participated in the meeting as a result of Syrian Arab army’s victories.
Since 2011, Syria has faced a foreign-backed terror war that targets its army, people, civilization and infrastructures in accordance with US-Zionist plot that aims to fragment the region and to have hegemony over its wealth.
