Over the past four weeks, jubilant Syrians have been taking to the streets countrywide, staging various activities through which they expressed their support for holding the presidential elections for the first time in Syria, a remarkable accomplishment amid a three-year-old terrorist war concocted by the US, its western allies and Arab and regional tools with the aim of weakening Syria and ending resistance of Israeli occupation.

While stressing adherence to national unity and the nationalist pan-Arab policy of Syria and its unwavering stances towards Arab causes of destiny, the participants affirmed they will press ahead in fighting the takfiri terrorism and preserving the peaceful co-existence Syria has been famed for since time immemorial.

The participants emphasized the importance of the presidential elections in moving forward with combating terrorism and achieving national reconciliation which is the guarantee for stable and immune Syria against all kinds of conspiracies. Syria’s president can only be chosen by the Syrian people and no force in the world can influence this national decision which has been guaranteed by international laws.

Syria and its leadership are targeted today because of their national, pan-Arab stances and support for the Arab just causes, especially the resistance against Israeli occupation. Syria and its leadership are being targeted due to their rejection of foreign mandates, and preserving sovereignty and independent decision. The Syrians are unified on the goal of eliminating terrorism and restoring security and stability to their country.

The third of June will be the date to announce victory over crisis and plot and the beginning of the reconstruction process.

The Syrians’ participation in the upcoming elections will change balance of power and define Arab future, delivering a blow to all those who questioned the legitimacy of the Syrian leadership and all the conspirators who wanted to see Syria kneeling and rotating in the Zionist orbit.

The elections will transfer the Syrian people towards a national democracy that is different from the false democracy the west wants to employ to bring its pawns to power so as they can implement their colonialist projects in the region..

The elections embody Syria’s victory over its enemies. The Syrians are committed to carrying out the elections and showing the whole world that they’re a vibrant, conscientious people capable of preserving their sovereignty, dignity and independent decision.
