The Syrian Football Federation announced that it signed a contract with the Spanish Jose Lana to be the head caoch of the Syrian nstional football team.
Jose Lana, born in 1975, holds a European Pro Diploma, and led the Spanish National Team to win the European Youth Championship title this summer.
He led Spain’s U-19 national team in 24 matches, winning 18 matches and losing only one. Under his leadership, the national team scored 59 goals and received 12.
It is noteworthy that the former head coach Hector Cuper Hector Cuper submitted his resignation after the failure of the Syrian national team to qualify for the third round of World Cup qualifiers.
