Jordan’s Al-Safadi Emphasizes the Need to Assist the Syrians in Rebuilding their Homeland

Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Al-Safadi emphasized the need to support the Syrian people in rebuilding their homeland through a “Syrian-Syrian” political process based on principles that ensure Syria’s unity, security, stability, and sovereignty, free it from terrorism, and preserve the rights of all Syrians.

This came during his meeting today in Amman with German Interior Minister Nancy Faeser and Austrian Interior Minister Gerhard Karner, where they discussed the situation in Syria, as reported by the Jordanian news agency Petra.

During the meeting, Al-Safadi stressed the importance of continuing to support refugees, the organizations that care for them, and the host countries, alongside intensive efforts to create a suitable environment that allows for their voluntary return to their homeland.
