Jordanian organizations call for terminating Jordan’s gas deal with Israel

AMMAN, (ST)- Jordanian unionist and popular organizations have called for cancelling the Jordanian government’s gas deal with Israel and for ending all forms of normalization with the Zionist entity, reiterating their rejection of all the agreements signed with this entity.

The Jordanian Engineers’ Syndicate affirmed that it rejects any attempts to waste public money and the resources of the Jordanian people in the gas deal with the Zionist entity, warning against turning Jordan into a crossing for Israel to enter the Arab region.

The syndicate called on the Jordanian government to cancel the gas deal as well as other normalization projects with Israel and invest the wasted billions in productive national projects that create new job opportunities for the Jordanians.

“The gas deal puts the Jordanian energy security in the hands of a Zionist occupier that can’t be trusted,” the syndicate said.
