Jordanian MP: Syria Has the Right to Protect its Borders by all Means

AMMAN, (ST)_ Member of Jordanian Parliament, Hind Al-Fayez, stressed that Syria has the right to use all means to protect its borders, pointing out that Israel’s occupation wants to weaken Syria and all the Arab countries to serve its own schemes in the region.

Al-Fayez remarks came during an interview on Wednesday with Al-Mayadeen TV channel, saying that “The Syrian Opposition” is not able to maintain Syria’s cohesion and stability while the current political system in Syria is able to do it, pointing out that the US seeks dividing and weakening Syria.

She confirmed the importance of controlling Syrian-Jordanian borders to prevent the infiltration of terrorists into Syria, stressing the importance of Syria and Jordan being side by side in fighting terrorism.

“Participating in a ground war against ISIS terrorist organization “Daesh” is a red line because it is considered as interfere in the Syrian affairs” Al-Fayez said, calling for working with the Arab countries to attain a political solution to the crisis in Syria.

“Who leads the international coalition against ISIS is the one who is funding terrorism in the region” Al-Fayez said, adding “if the US wanted to eliminate ISIS, it would done it long time ago”

“We need to uproot the terrorist organizations without US dictates and agendas” the Jordanian MP concluded.
