Amman (ST) – Head of the Jordanian Pharmacists Syndicate Muhammad Ababneh on Saturday announced that the syndicate has collected medical donations worth more than 2 million dinars for those affected by the earthquake in Syria.

The aid was collected in coordination with the Jordanian pharmaceutical companies and warehouses.

Ammon website quoted Ababneh as saying: “the syndicate will coordinate with the Hashemite Charitable Organization to send donations to Syria to serve those affected by the earthquake.”

According to Petra Agency, the Jordanian Businessmen Association, in coordination with the Hashemite Charitable Organization, launched a donation campaign to support relief and rescue efforts as a result of the devastating earthquake.

The organisation urged members of its general body to contribute to the financial and material donations to support the affected, and to provide possible support to overcome this crisis.
