Jordanian experts and politicians: The return of Syria to the Arab surrounding is the beginning of stability in the region

Amman  (ST): Jordanian experts and politicians affirmed that the return of Syria to the Arab surrounding marks the beginning of stabilization of the situation in the region.

During a symposium held by the Jordanian Masarat Foundation for Development in the Jordanian capital, Amman, yesterday, they pointed out that the developments regarding the return of Arab relations with Syria come after a major change in new Arab and international contexts.

The former Jordanian Minister of Information and current member of the Senate, Dr. Muhammad al-Momani, affirmed that Jordan is one of the countries that has the most interests and special interests in restoring relations with Syria in all fields, and he said: “It is in our interest that Syria regain its strength and position at all levels.”

For his part, the Minister of Information and the official spokesperson for the former Jordanian government, Eng. Sakhr Dodin, indicated that the Arab countries’ tendency to restore relations with Syria and bring them back to the Arab surrounding comes because of the reform approach that Syria has witnessed, in addition to its importance in linking relations between the Arab countries, Turkey and Northern Europe. He called on the Arab countries to pay attention to the real enemy in the region, represented by the Israeli occupation.
