Jordan exempts Syrian trucks from fees

The Jordanian Council of Ministers approved today the exemption of Syrian trucks from fees and charges imposed on them, in implementation of the decision to unify fees imposed on Jordanian and Syrian trucks and in implementation of the principle of reciprocity between the two countries.

The Jordanian News Agency (Petra) reported that this decision, which was taken during the Jordanian Council of Ministers session held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan, comes to keep pace with developments in the movement of transportation and trade exchange between the two countries, and as part of the support provided by Jordan to Syria to facilitate the movement of trade.
