The Jordanian Ministry of Interior announced the opening of the Jaber border crossing with Syria, opposite the Nasib crossing, throughout the day starting from March 23.
The ministry said in a statement today that this decision comes as a result of coordination with the Syrian side and takes all measures to ensure the continuity of effective work, and the provision of all logistical and security facilities to ensure smooth movement at the border post.
Based on this decision, the working hours at the Jaber border crossing will become compatible with the al-Omari crossing border with Saudi Arabia.
The ministry explained that the decision aims to facilitate procedures related to the departure of passengers and cargo transportation, as well as contribute to supporting and enhancing trade exchange and activating economic movement between Jordan and Syria.
