The joint Syrian-Russian warplanes carried out concentrated strikes targeting terrorist gatherings and their movement axes on the outskirts of the town of al-Safira in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, causing them heavy losses in personnel and equipment.
A military source told SANA correspondent that “the joint Syrian-Russian warplanes launched successive strikes on terrorist gatherings and their movement axes on the outskirts of the town of al-Safira in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.”
The source added that the strikes left “dozens of terrorists dead and wounded, in addition to destroying several vehicles and machinery that were in their possession.”
In the same context, SANA’s correspondent in Hama reported earlier today that Syrian Arab Army units “are currently working to secure the towns and villages of Taybat al-Imam, Halfaya, and Qalaat al-Madiq in the northern and northwestern Hama countryside, and to establish points and checkpoints in them after liberating them and defeating the terrorists during the past 48 hours.”
