Jibril: We will Resist Any Foreign Aggression on Syria

DAMASCUS, (ST)_ Secretary-General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command Ahmed Jibril,  stressed the front fixed stand to  resist any foreign aggression against Syria .

In an interview with al-Mayadeen TV on  Friday, the Palestinian official  reiterated the Front ‘s readiness  to resist aggression and that the front ‘s forces will not remain in the camps if  the aggression will continue.

He explained that what is happening in Syria  was plotted by  the US  since 2003 to punish and destroy Syria  after the failure of its  containment by the  sheikhdom of  Qatar  and government of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, through holding  close ties with Syria in order to keep it away from Iran and the forces of resistance in region.

Jibril  pointed out that resistance forces  and  countries in the region have been  for years exposed to a political  media campaign, and that the  US  believes that the destruction of Syria as a state will be conducive to the  destruction of these nations and resistance forces in Iran, Syria and Lebanon.

The Palestinian official  stressed that the Palestinian refugee camps in Syria are attacked  by  terrorists in the framework of the conspiracy aimed at involving the Palestinians in the battle against Syria, pointing out that Hamas felt  under the influence of the Muslim Brotherhood under the illusion  that  the regime in Syria will fall.

He added that  Hamas leadership  should be faithful for Syria over what Syria gave them  throughout the past period and to realize that the Liberation of Palestine does not pass from Doha, where the  U.S. bases are stationed.
