JCPOA Great Achievement, Global Development, Says Darmanovic

Belgrade – Montenegrin Foreign Minister Srdjan Darmanovic in meeting with Iran’s new accredited Ambassador to Montenegro Hossein Molla Abdollahi praised Iran’s rich culture and old civilization and called Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) a great achievement for Iran.

He also said that JCPOA was an important development for settling the most complicated international crises in the contemporary history and congratulated Iranian government and nation for this success.

During the meeting which took place on Friday evening, Darmanovic added that he is eagerly following up developments in Iran and is ready to visit Tehran.

 Given geographical importance of Montenegro, Darmanovic said there are plenty of grounds for mutual cooperation and Montenegro with all its existing capacities and capabilities is interested in development and consolidating bilateral ties between Iran and Montenegro.

He said that Montenegro is an appropriate destination for Iranian tourists and added government is trying to create necessary facilities for easy, fast issuing visa for Iranian tourists.

Molla Abdollahi conveyed greetings of Foreign Minister Zarif to his counterpart and expressed his readiness to host his Montenegrin counterpart in Tehran in near future.

He described visit of Darmanovic to Tehran important to revive bilateral relations, and added that signing basic agreements between the two sides and holding economic conferences will prepare grounds for the expansion of trade and commercial cooperation.

Molla Abdollahi said exchanging diplomatic, economic and parliamentary delegation is important to broaden the relations level, and added that holding constant political consultations on bilateral issues will prepare grounds for closer cooperation between the two countries on international and regional issues.
