‘Jasmine Veins’ organization honors Syrian martyred reporters’ families

The ‘Jasmine veins’ Organization, in cooperation with Information Ministry, honored Wednesday the families of the Syrian reporters martyred while covering the events in the country.  

The honoring ceremony was held in the Damascus Opera House in the presence of Information, Administrative Development and Environment Affairs Ministers and Political and Media Advisor in Presidency Dr. Buthaina Shaaban plus other officials.

A film documenting the Syrian Arab army’s victories since the Liberation October War till today plus another film on the Syrian media were screened during the ceremony.

Information Minister Omran al-Zoubi said during the ceremony that media outlets’ martyrs are part of Syria’s martyrs, calling for enhancing the national unity to confront the conspirators and the terrorists.

He referred to the victories of the Syrian Arab army in all areas. “These victories make us believe that Syria-Syrian dialogue must be held in Syria.”

On her part, Director of the ‘Jasmine veins’ OrganizationEng.  Sawsan Ali said that Syria will triumph thanks to sacrifices of the martyrs, especially the reporters, who has worked to convey reality and to preserve the homeland’s dignity in order to support the Syrian army.

Syrian army in cooperation with defense groups broke- on the same day of holding the ceremony- a three-year-long siege that had been imposed by terrorists on Nubbul and Zahraa towns in the northern countryside of Aleppo, delivering a fresh ‘heavy blow’ to terrorist organizations.

The fresh victory was praised by the martyrs’ families, who were honored in the Opera House.

Last December, the organization of ‘Jasmine Veins’ honored 200 families of the Syrian Arab army’s martyrs on the occasion Of the Prophet Mohammad’s birthday and Christmas Day in al-Sharq club in Damascus.
