Jasmine Festival (Welcome Ramadan) Launched in Bab Touma Square in Damascus

Last night, the Jasmine Company for Exhibitions and Conferences in cooperation with the Damascus Governorate and the Damascus Chamber of Commerce launched the Jasmine Festival, Welcome Ramadan, in Bab Touma Square in Damascus.

55 companies specialized in  food, chemical and textile industries are participating in the festival, offering their various products at competitive prices and discounts of up to 50 percent compared to their counterparts in the market.

The deputy head of the Executive Office in Damascus Governorate, Eng. Ali Al-Mobayed, stated that the festival is an appropriate opportunity for companies to display their products and for the consumer as well to obtain these products at reduced prices.

In his turn, the Chairman of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce and the President of the Damascus Chamber of Commerce, Muhammad Abu al-Huda al-Lahham, referred to the remarkable turnout that characterized the festival since its first hours, as a result of the diversity of locally manufactured products known for their quality, in addition to reasonable prices.

For her part, Rasha Khlefawi, director of the company organizing the exhibition, confirmed that the aim of the exhibition is to meet the diverse needs of the Syrian family during the blessed month of Ramadan at the best prices, through direct sales from the producer to the consumer without an intermediary, which allows companies to know the customer’s opinion of their products directly.
