“ Jarih Al-Watan” Program focuses on supporting education of wounded Syrian army personnel

In believing in the capabilities of the wounded  army personnel , whose injuries did not and won’t prevent them from looking forward to the future, “ Jarih Al-Watan” ( injured of the homeland)  program gives top priority to education.  

  It  considers  education as a basic gateway that enables the wounded to a better future and enhances their ability to be active and an integral part  in building  their most valuable homeland and  supports  them to make a difference and a positive change in their lives .   

“ Jarih Al-Watan “ program seeks to provide injured soldiers  a package of services and care to provide them with the best chance of a fulfilled life by offering them the dignified care and rehabilitation they need.  

The project  has set-up integral mechanisms including following-up the wounded personnel’s education and ensuring the required educational environment according to the wounded’s  health condition.

“ Jarih Al-Watan” project   has become like the wounded’s  family that follows him up  and support him psychologically and academically to lead  him  to success and excellence.  

During the past years, dozens of wounded obtained a preparatory certificate  then a secondary, and  joined  university  with multiple specializations, with the motivation and support of the  program which  views   that education is a project of success and a great opportunity to enable the wounded   get a job  to achieve   independence and financially sufficient. 

Today, for many of the wounded of the war battles , continuing education has become a noble goal that they aspire without considering   their injuries as  an obstacle to pursuing educational attainment, especially university education.  

“ Jarih Al-Watan” program celebrates every year the good results achieved by the wounded in the preparatory and secondary certificate exams. The project always looks forward to university education in which the wounded excel and obtain ranks and achievements that confirm their scientific superiority, which is no less valuable than their superiority in protecting this country.  

It is  worth mentioning  that  “Jarih Al-Watan” program was launched by the presidency of the Syrian Arab Republic in 2014 to support the wounded  and provide their needs , particularly  those who sustained injuries that prevent them from returning to their normal lives.   

It provides prosthetics to the injured and helps them start productive projects . “ Jarih Al-Watan “ program targets all wounded members  of the army and armed forces and supporting forces.
