Japanese activist visits Aleppo, calls for supporting the Syrians to overcome repercussions of Western sanctions

Aleppo-  Director of Japanese Charitable Fund of (Kayoko), Miwa Iwarma, called for supporting the Syrians to overcome the negative impacts of the Western sanctions imposed on the country and alleviate their repercussions on the Syrians’ living in various sectors, especially the medical one.

During a meeting with relief committee at the Syriac-Orthodox Archdiocese of Aleppo, The Japanese activist underlined the importance of cooperation between non-profitable organizations and institutions in order to support the Syrian people, particularly after the disastrous earthquake, adding that Kayoko fund aims to help people in Aleppo province face various difficulties.

In turn, Archbishop for Archdiocese of Syriac-Orthodox, Mar Boutros Kassis, stressed that the Church welcomes donors and works to attract them

Relief committee director, Majd Lahdou, said that the support offered to community development by Kayoko Fund aims to serve the sick, orphans and the elderly.
