Jahromi: Iranian President’s forthcoming visit to Syria is strategic

TEHRAN, May.2, (ST)- The Iranian Government’s Spokesman Ali Bahadori Jahromi described the forthcoming visit of President Ebrahim Raisi to Syria on Wednesday as strategic.

“The main target of the visit focuses on the economic domains,” IRNA press quoted Jahromi as saying in a press conference.

He added that the two countries have a successful cooperation in different fields like security, combating terrorism and they can stand side by side during Syria reconstruction process.

President of Iran Ebrahim Raisi is going to pay a two-day official visit to Syria on Wednesday heading a high-ranking political and economic ministerial delegation.
