“Jabhet al-Nusra”, “Ahrar al-Sham” Terror Groups Attack Al-Zara Power Plant, Workers’ Houses in Hama Countryside

HAMA, (ST)- The terrorists of “Jabhet al-Nusra” and “Ahrar al-Sham” groups have rocketed al-Zara electric power plant and its workers houses in Hama southern countryside.

A source at the Hama Electricity Company told SANA reporter that the rocket fire of the terrorist groups against the power plant damaged one of the transfer stations, leading it to be out of service.

 The company’s maintenance teams rushed to the site to fix the damage, said the source.  

According to the source, the  terrorists also targeted the plant’s workers’ houses with another rocket shell causing damage to one of the houses, but fortunately no casualties were reported.

Al-Zara power plant is located in Hama southern countryside near the northern bank of al-Rastan lake where terrorist groups, like “Jabhat al-Nusra” and “Ahrar al-Sham” spread and keep attacking the power plant and the surrounding villages.
