Jabhat Al-Nusra terrorists, “White Hemets” preparing staged chemical attack in Syria’s Idlib: Russian MoD

The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that Jabhat Al-Nusra terrorist organization, together with the “White Helmets” terror group, are preparing a staged chemical attack in the Idlib de-escalation zone with the aim of accusing the Syrian Arab Army of using chemical weapons against civilians.

Deputy Head of the Russian Coordination Center in Hmeimim, Rear Adm. Vadim Kulit, told journalists on Friday that the terrorists in cooperation with the “White Helmets” are getting ready to fabricate a chemical attack in the de-escalation zone in Idlib, pointing out that “they will likely implement their plans on the day that President Bashar Al-Assad will take the constitutional oath”.

They will implement their plans in the vicinity of the towns of Saraqib and Khan Sheikhoun, with the participation of some affiliated media, whose role is to film this alleged chemical incident in order to accuse the Syrian army of using toxic substances against civilians, according to Kulit.

Early this month, the Russian Defense Ministry said that Jabhat Al-Nusra terrorists in cooperation with representatives from the “White Helmets” transported about 10 barrels of toxic materials by truck to Harem area in Idlib province with the aim of staging a chemical attack in the southern part of Jabal Al-Zawiya in order to later accuse the Syrian army of using chemical weapons against civilians.
