Jabhat Al-Nusra terrorists carried out 7 attacks in Idlib de-escalation zone over the past hours

The Russian Defense Ministry has stated that the terrorist groups positioned in the de-escalation zone in Idlib carried out 7 attacks on Syrian army positions and residential areas over the past hours.

According to the Deputy Chief of the Russian Coordination Center in Hmeimim, Major General Oleg Yegorov, 7 acts of shelling by Jabhat Al-Nusra terrorist organization were monitored over the past 24 hours in the de-escalation zone in Idlib. 4 of these attacks were registered in Idlib province and 3 in Hama province, he clarified.

Terrorist groups affiliated to the blacklisted Jabhat Al-Nusra terror organization have heavy presence in Idlib city and parts of its countryside. These groups repeatedly attack safe zones and the Syrian army positions, causing human casualties as well as damage to public and private property.
