Terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra terror organization are planning to provoke the situation by using poisonous chemical substances in the southern countryside of Syria’s Idlib, the Russian Defense Ministry unveiled on Friday.

Deputy head of the Russian Coordination Center for Reconciliation in Syria, Rear Admiral Alexander Grinkevich, said in a statement that the Center received information that there is a plan to use poisonous substances in the southern part of Idlib de-escalation zone by Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization.

He added that available information indicates that the terrorists plan to shoot videos in the area of Jabal Zawiya with the participation of foreign media reporters and to publish them later on the Internet in order to accuse the Syrian Army of using chemical weapons against civilians.

The Russian Defense Ministry has repeatedly affirmed that the terrorist groups in Idleb have laboratories to produce poisonous substances that would be used in chemical attacks against civilians in order to accuse the Syrian state.

These laboratories are run by specialists and experts who received training in Europe.
