Jaberi Ansari: To solve crisis in Syria, there is need to accept Syrian people’s will

Tehran – Senior Assistant to Iran’s Foreign Minister for Special Political Affairs, Hossein Jaberi Ansari, stressed on Saturday that the Syrian people only have the right to decide the future of their country, saying that to solve the crisis in Syria, there is need to accept the will of the Syrian people, SANA reported.

The efforts exerted in Astana, Sochi and Geneva platforms will be successful if the Syrian people are given the chance to decide the future of their own country, he added.

 

Jaberi Ansari also said that the common goal of cooperation between the guarantors of the Astana process and the United Nations is to preserve the territorial integrity of Syria.
