Jaafari: States that supported UNSC  Resolution No. 2178  Should Implement it

NEWYORK,(ST)_Syria’s Permanent representative to the UN, Dr. Bashar Jaafari has called on countries that supported UN Security Council Resolution No. 2178 on the prevention of the flow of foreign fighters across the border to abide by it and associate words with deeds, especially the US, Britain, France, Turkey and the Gulf states.

Jaafari said in a telephone interview with Syrian Arab TV yesterday that Thursday was a Syrian day bar excellence at the UN when the UNSC session adopted Resolution 2178 on foreign fighters, noting that President Barack Obama and other presidents repeated what Syria has been saying over three and a half years of the existence of terrorism in Syria that should be fought by the so-called international community. “

Jaafari indicated that after Saudi Arabia felt very embarrassed by phenomenon of takfiri terrorist, coming from it, the Saudi funded UN Centre for Counter-Terrorism made a questionnaire about fighting terrorism, including interviews with foreign fighters returning to their home countries voluntarily, which means that Saudi Arabia would integrate repentant Daesh members into the Saudi society before assigning them new tasks on other fronts later, as happened in Afghanistan and Iraq.
