Jaafari: Obama, Cameroon Climbed the Tree and do not know how to get down

DAMASCUS, (ST)_ Syria ‘s permanent representative to the UN Dr.  Bashar Jaafari  said that U.S. President Barack Obama and British Prime Minister David Cameron ” Raised  themselves to the top  of the tree and do not know how to get down ,” in reference to their  involvement regarding the military intervention in Syria.

In a Telephone Intervention with the Syrian TV yesterday, Jaafari explained  that “Obama is subject to enormous pressure from the extreme right ,  neo – Zionists and Israel, Turkey and some Arabs ,” adding that Obama did the  best when he  emulated  what Cameron had done in terms of  assigning the decision of  the aggression on Syria to the Congress.”

Jaafari  indicated that U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry used the term ” evidence of high credibility  ” when he accused the Syrian government of  using chemical , recalling that the same  expression  was used by ” Colin Powell at the Security Council in 2003 to justify the invasion of Iraq when he said that he had” high credible signs  ” , and therefore  the one who made a mistake against Iraq repeats  the same mistake and uses the same terminology .”

Jaafari  made it clear that the US  , France and Britain opposed the Syrian  request to the UN to  determine the identity of the side  which  used chemical weapons in Khan al-Asal  incident , hinting that  ” they  delayed dispatching  investigators to Syria  for more than five months because they know who did that.”

Jaafari  cautioned the need to differentiate between the ” use of a  chemical weapon of mass destruction, and  the use of chemicals  that can be put together  and combined by armed groups and gangs ,” pointing out that the investigators mission  should  give the impression whether the used chemical used is a  locally manufactured rudimentary  material or a weapon of mass destruction because this will be conducive to  a completely different result . “

Jaafari  also recalled to mind the subway  incident in Tokyo when a  Japanese extremist  group used  few grams of sarin gas that led to the deaths of hundreds , while the  Turkish authorities  announced a time before the arrest of 12 people from the “al-Nusra Front  ” having two  liters of sarin gas they brought  with them from Libya on a  civilian plane , a matter which can kill  hundreds of thousands of human beings.
