Jaafari discusses with Ambassador Abdel Hadi the developments on the Arab and Palestinian arenas

On May 3rd, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Bashar Al-Jaafari met with Ambassador Anwar Abdel-Hadi, Director of the Political Department of the Palestine Liberation Organization in Damascus.

 Al-Jaarari discussed with Abdel-Hadi the relationship between the two countries and the latest developments on the Arab and Palestinian arenas.

 Al-Jaafari affirmed Syria’s firm and principled stance towards the Palestinian cause, and that the Syrian leadership and people will continue to support this just cause until the Palestinian people regain their legitimate rights in full.

 

 Al-Jaafari expressed Syria’s welcome to any decision that attains Palestinian consensus, ends the state of division, and unites the Palestinian ranks in a way that supports the rightful demands of the Palestinian people.

 For his part, Ambassador Abdel Hadi praised Syria’s steadfast position and leadership in its support for the Palestinian cause, stressing that Syria is faithful to Arab rights, including Palestinian rights.

 At the end of the meeting, the two sides stressed the need for continued communication and coordination of joint efforts in a way that fortifies the Palestinian cause against the dangers facing it and fails the plots being hatched against the Arab nation and its just and righteous causes.
