Italy Underlines Iran’s Determining Role in Settlement of Regional Crisis

TEHRAN (ST)- Italian Foreign Minister Federica Mogherini on Friday underscored the crucial role Iran has always played in the restoration of peace and stability to the Middle-Eastern region.

In a meeting with her Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif on the sidelines of annual meeting of the UN General Assembly in New York, the top Italian diplomat hailed Iran’s stabilizing role in the region and its efforts in the fight against extremism.

According to FNA, She further added that Italy will continue talks with Tehran as a key regional partner in the volatile region of Middle East.

Earlier this month, Iraq’s President Fouad Massoum underscored that Iran, as an influential country in the region, has always played a constructive role in the restoration of security to his country.
