Italian Senator: ‘We Back Syria in Confrontation of Terrorism’

ROME, (ST)- Italian Senate Member Paolo Romani has stressed his support for Syria and its army in the fight against terrorism.

Meeting member of the Syrian People’s Assembly Nabil Tou’meh on Sunday, Romani said he wanted to visit Syria within an Italian parliamentary delegation.

“I am looking forward to visiting Syria and the city of Aleppo and to see the victories achieved by the Syrian army in its battle against terrorism,” Romani added.

He criticized the disinformation policy that has been practiced on Europe in general and on Italy in particular about what is really going on in Syria.
