Islamic-Christian Committee for Supporting Jerusalem and Holy Shrines calls for stopping Israeli crimes against Palestinians

OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, Sep.7, (ST)- The Islamic-Christian Committee for Supporting Al-Quds [Jerusalem] and the Holy Shrines has called on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities and stop the daily crimes of the occupation against the Palestinians.

The committee referred in a statement released today to the fact that the occupied Palestinian territories are witnessing a dangerous escalation in the brutal murder being committed by the occupation forces in cold blood, asserting that these crimes amount to war crimes under the Fourth Geneva Convention of 1994.

It pointed out that the silence of the international community and the International Criminal Court on these crimes and the impunity of the occupation authorities from accountability encourage occupation to persist in committing these crimes.

The committee affirmed that the Palestinian people will continue the struggle in defense of their rights and sanctities, no matter how sacrifices are to be offered.
