ISIS thinking and US-Zionist role in reviving it

The Damascus Trust for National Principles in cooperation with the Cultural Center in Abo Remmaneh area in Damascus held Tuesday a symposium on ISIS thinking and the US-Zionist role in reviving it.

The symposium included a lecture given by the researcher Nabil Toameh, who stressed that the revive of the ISIS thinking [Daesh thinking] aims to end republics, especially the secular ones that based on the moderate Islam , in the Arab nation.

“Another goal for the revive of the ISIS thinking is to spread the extremism based on the Wahhabi bases, which were planned by the world Zionism in order to fragment  the Arab world and the region,” the lecturer said.

He referred to the cultural invasion Syria exposed to during the war waged against it in order fragment the country in accordance with the US-Zionist plot which depends on consolidating the Wahhabi thinking based on murder, destruction and the exclusion of  the other sects.

“The Wahhabi thinking seeks to have hegemony over the Arab and Islamic worlds to keep them ignorant. ..The real death is the death of culture and thinking in human personality,” To’ameh affirmed.

He, in addition, made it clear that the ISIS [self-proclaimed the Islamic State] presents wrong interpretation of Jihad.

“Al-Qaeda is the real father of ISIS and al-Nusra Front [Jabhat al-Nusra], which want to eliminate the moderate Islam,” the researcher said, calling on intellectuals and reporters to confront the al-Qaeda thinking which was founded in the 1970s.

Two days ago, the Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV channel quoted the ISIS as saying that it has 19 wilayas [provinces] in Syria and Iraq plus 16 wilayas in other countries.
