ISIS terrorists blow up Saint Mary Church in Hassaka

HASSAKA,(ST)_ISIS-linked terrorists blew up the Saint Mary Church in Tal Nasri town in the western countryside of Hassaka on Sunday, according to local sources.

The sources told the official news agency (SANA) that terrorists affiliated to the ISIS [its Arabic acronym is Daesh] bobby trapped the Saint Mary Church in Tal Nasri town, which lies south of Tal Tamer town in the western countryside of Hassaka, and blew it up in parallel with Easter celebrations.

The St. Mary church is one of the three main churches in Tal Nasri town and it was built in 1934. It was rehabilitated in 2005.

Last February, the ISIS terrorists burnt the ancient Tal Hermez Church and destroyed Kabr Shameyeh Church and Tal Jazereh Church in the same province [Hassaka].
