ISIS terrorist military ringleader plus many terrorists eliminated in qualitative operations in Daraa and Idlib
Tge competent security authorities have eliminated the terrorist ISIS military ringleader Abo Salem Al-Iraqi in a qualitative operation in Daraa countryside, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).
The agency quoted a security as saying that the competent security authorities carried out a qualitative operation, during which the terrorist ISIS military ringleader called “Abo Salem Al-Iraqi” was eliminated in the town of Adwan in the western countryside of Daraa, after besieging him and wounding him with several bullets before he blew himself up with an explosive belt.
The source clarified that the elimination of the terrorist Abu Salem al-Iraqi came after he had fled from the city of Tafas and was pursued by members of the security forces who clashed with him before he blew himself up.
“The operation resulted in the martyrdom of a member of the security forces, in addition to the injury of a civilian who was being taken hostage by the terrorist Abu Salem Al-Iraqi,” it added.
Another qualitative operation was carried out by an army unit against a terrorist group of different nationalities that tried to infiltrate from Al-Neirab area towards the village of Jubas in the eastern countryside of Idlib.
A field source declared that an army unit carried out a qualitative operation in which it clashed with a terrorist group composed of 25 terrorists of different nationalities while they were trying to infiltrate from Al-Neirab area into the village of Jubas in the eastern countryside of Idlib with the aim of carrying out terrorist operations against civilians and our armed forces operating in the area.
The source added: “The qualitative operation resulted in the death and injury of most of the terrorists. Our forces were also able to withdraw a number of bodies, confiscated their weapons, and dismantled the explosive belts they had and prepared for detonation.”
