ISIS hideout discovered in Syria’s Der Ezzour

DEIR EZZOUR, (ST)_Special authorities found a hideout containing weapons and communication devices belonging to ISIS  terrorists in a mountainous area on the outskirts of the town of Dweir in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzour. 
 
The hideout was a place from which ISIS terrorists launched attacks on people and government facilities.
 
A field command was quoted on the Syrian News Agency (SANA) as saying:  “in cooperation with citizens in the town of Dweir, the authorities discovered a terrorist hideout containing gas cylinders intended for detonation, ammunition and machine guns of various calibers, in addition to mortars of different sizes, RPG launchers, communication devices, medicines and protective masks.”
 
The commander added that work is underway to pursue the remnants of ISIS terrorists in the region.
 
 Syrian army’s units and special authorities, in cooperation with the residents in Deir Ezzor and its countryside, continue to dismantle mines in  areas liberated from terrorism.
