ISIS attack attempt thwarted in eastern Damascus Countryside, many terrorists killed in other areas

Provinces – Syrian Arab Army units, backed by the Air Force, continued targeting positions of terrorist organizations in various areas across the country, killing more of their members and destroying a number of their dens and vehicles, SANA reported.

An army unit  foiled an attempt by an ISIS terrorist group to attack a military post to the southeast of Arenbeh Hill in the vicinity of al-Badyia (desert) in the eastern part of Damascus countryside.

 

A military source said on Sunday that the clashes with the terrorists ended with thwarting the attack and killing or injuring many of the terrorists, in addition to destroying two vehicles laden with big amounts of explosives and five others equipped with machineguns.
