ISIL Terrorists Will Soon Turn Against Turkey

Turkey is caught between “a rock and a hard place” due to its support for the ISIL Takfiri terrorists, who will eventually turn against authorities in Ankara, says an analyst.

In an interview with Press TV on Sunday, Mimi al-Laham, a political commentator from Australia, said ISIL may bite the hand that feeds it and “would soon turn against” the Turkish government.

The analyst added that Turkey’s support for the ISIL militants has caused terrible embarrassment and humiliation for the US-led coalition against the militants.

Turkey has also come under heavy criticism from Washington for its inaction against the terrorist group, which has recently wreaked havoc on Syria’s Kurdish border town of Kobani, she added.

On October 3, US Vice President Joe Biden said Turkey, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have “poured hundreds of millions of dollars” to support the Takfiri groups operating to topple the government in Syria.

There is a big explosion of anger and rebellion against the government in Ankara among the Kurdish population in the southeastern part of Turkey, the commentator said.

She stated that ISIL and some other terrorist groups have received highly specialized training by the Americans and their regional allies. 

The ISIL Takfiri terroristshave committed widespread acts of violence, including mass executions, abductions, torture and forcing women into slavery, in the areas they have seized.

They have threatened all communities, and continue their atrocities in the region.
