ISIL Terrorists Flee Iraqi Army Strikes in Six Areas

BAGHDAD, (ST) – The terrorists of the so-called Islamic State in Iraq and Levant fled six areas in Diyala province without any fight, Commander of Dijla Operations, Abdulameer al-Zaidi has revealed, stressing that ISIL abilities are deteriorating day after day because of the qualitative strikes of the Iraqi army and security forces.

 

Al-Zaidi was quoted by the Iraqi Media Network as saying that the areas from which ISIL fighters retreated were considered as defensive lines for the terrorists inside Diyala.

“The fighting abilities of the terrorist organization are deteriorating day after day thanks to the Iraqi army’s qualitative operations which are achieving progress as regards recapturing wide areas from ISIL and restoring stability to these areas.
