With the participation of Syria, the 2022 art exhibition “Ishraqat” currently held in Dubai celebrates contemporary Arab figurative art through 100 works ranging from oil and water painting to natural materials, sculptures and artistic formations by 24 Arab artists.
The Syrian participation in the exhibition was an opportunity to enhance the presence of Syrian figurative art in Arab forums and exhibitions, as confirmed by Dr. Loubana Muchaweh, Minister of Culture, during her visit to the exhibition at the Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation in Dubai, accompanied by the Syrian Ambassador to the Arab Emirates, Dr. Ghassan Abbas.
Muchaweh admired the works of the creative Syrian artists participating in the exhibition, their paintings and sculptures as well as other important works. The minister invited the artists to participate in the exhibitions and artistic forums held by the Ministry of Culture and private galleries in Syria to enhance the convergence of the and to enrich the Syrian art movement.
It is noteworthy that the exhibition, which is held in cooperation with the “Spirit of Art” Foundation, will continue until February 8.
