Israel’s crimes in Gaza have revealed the bloody face of the West, says Australian writer

Sydney,(ST) – Israel’s crimes in Gaza, with all the indescribable ugliness they carry, have caused, according to Australian writer Caitlin Johnston, a global awakening, in which the real bloody face of the West was exposed.

The writer wondered in an article published on her website on the “Medium” platform about the extent to which the Western media will go in covering Israel’s crimes, and how long the Western media machines will continue to regurgitate the same lies and pretext in an attempt to justify the number of horrific massacres and daily massacres committed by “Israel” in Gaza in particular and in occupied Palestine in general.

Johnston said: The colonial powers of the West, led by “Israel” and the United States revealed through the massacres committed against the Palestinians their true, ugly face in front of everyone. She added that despite the fact that Western public opinion is subject to the control of propaganda, which promotes claims of “freedom and democracy,” everyone lives in an illusion carefully woven by those who control the way voters and civilians think, speak, act, and vote, whether in Europe or the United States.

“The global popular movement of street protests and posts on social media confirms an awakening among everyone in the West”, She said.

Regarding the Western media’s continued replay and repetition of what happened during the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation, and ignoring all the massacres committed by “Israel,” Johnston said: All these attempts have become obsolete and exposed, and the horrific facts, videos, and pictures of all the victims, who suffer as a result of “Israel’s” crimes, no longer leave room for the continuation of these lies.

Johnston said that no one can anymore hide the fact that “Israel”, in direct participation with the United States and the West, is killing the children of Gaza, and is waging a genocidal campaign to end their existence and their land with all kinds of weapons and missiles.
