Dozens of innocent Palestinian civilians, including women and children, have been killed and others wounded over the past few hours as the ongoing Israeli genocide campaign on Gaza Strip enters its 99th day, WAFA News Agency reported.
The agency said that 20 Palestinians were martyred this dawn in the Israeli bombardment of a house in Al-Daraj neighborhood in Gaza city.
The city of Khan Yunis in the south of Gaza Strip also witnessed intense bombing by the Israeli forces that caused casualties. A number of injured persons were transferred to Nasser Hospital.
Media sources said that confirmed that there was continuous Israeli bombing east of Deir al-Balah and al-Maghazi in central Gaza Strip.
Since the early morning hours, sounds of intense gunfire have been heard east of Deir al-Balah, especially in the vicinity of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, which announced yesterday, Friday, that it had run out of fuel and had completely cut off electricity, putting the lives of premature infants and those injured in intensive care at risk.
3 Palestinians were also martyred in Israeli bombing of residential districts in Beit Lahia, north of the Strip.
Networks and transmission towers were damaged as a result of the massive destruction caused by the aggression to the infrastructure, and the lack of fuel due to the siege, which led to frequent outages.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society also announced a complete loss of communication with its crews working in Gaza Strip due to the Israeli occupation cutting off communications and internet services, which increases the challenges facing the society’s crews in providing their ambulance services and reaching the wounded.
A new toll has revealed that the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7 has resulted in at least 23,708 martyrs, more than 70% of whom are women and children, and 60,000 wounded. Additionally, thousands of individuals are still missing under the rubble.
