The Israeli occupation forces on Saturday opened fire at Palestinian farmers working in their lands east of the city of Khan Younis, in the south of Gaza Strip, WAFA News Agency reported.
The agency said that the shooting forced the farmers to stop work and leave their lands to avoid being injured or killed.
Opening fire at Gaza farmers working in their lands is an almost daily incident. Often, the Israeli occupation forces infiltrate into Gaza with their heavy machinery and raze swathes of land inside the besieged strip.
About 2.3 million Palestinians in Gaza continue to suffer from the Israeli blockade which has been imposed since 2006. According to most recent reports presented by Palestinian legal institutions, the blockade caused crises in all walks of life in Gaza.
A Palestinian youth injured in an Israeli attack in Jenin
This morning, the Israeli occupation forces opened fire on Palestinians during their raid on the northern West Bank city of Jenin, injuring a Palestinian youth.
WAFA said, citing Palestinian security sources, that the youth was shot in the arm by a live bullet and rushed to a hospital in the city where he was reported in stable condition.
The Israeli forces also raided and searched the home of a former Palestinian detainee.
A Palestinian injured after being run over by an occupation vehicle in Nablus
Meantime, another Palestinian was injured after he was run over by an Israeli occupation vehicle during a raid on Askar camp, east of the northern West Bank city of Nablus. Several other Palestinians suffocated from inhaling teargas fired by the occupation.
According to the head of the Ambulance and Emergency Services at the Red Crescent in Nablus, Ahmad Jibril, medics treated a Palestinian, who suffered bruises after being hit by an occupation vehicle, as well as several others who suffered from suffocation after inhaling teargas.
The soldiers raided the camp and nearby areas, broke into several homes, and detained one person, WAFA added.
