The Israeli occupation army acknowledged that 8 of its soldiers were killed in the bombing of a troop carrier during today’s battles in Rafah.
Earlier, the Palestinian Resistance Movement announced a complex ambush against Israeli army vehicles in Tal Al-Sultan, west of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.
The movement said that its fighters “carried out a complex ambush against enemy vehicles advancing in the Saudi neighborhood area of Tal Al-Sultan, west of Rafah city. A D9 military bulldozer was targeted with an Al-Yassin 105 shell, causing it to catch fire and resulting in the killing and injury of its crew.
“Upon the arrival of the rescue force, a Namer armored personnel carrier was targeted with an Al-Yassin 105 shell, leading to its destruction and the killing of all its members,” it concluded.
Moreover, the resistance shot down an Israeli occupation drone in the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip and took control of it.
In the northern Gaza Strip, the Palestinian resistance pushed an armored force belonging to the Zionist enemy in a pre-prepared minefield southwest of Gaza City, killing and wounding its members. It also targeted an enemy command headquarters in the Netzarim axis in southern Gaza and the Sufa and Kissufim military sites on the outskirts of the Gaza Strip with a barrage of rockets and mortar shells in response to the occupation’s continuing crimes against the Palestinian people.
