Israeli occupation enemy renews its attacks on Lebanese towns

Beirut, (ST) – The Israeli occupation enemy on Sunday renewed its attacks on villages and towns in eastern and southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that enemy warplanes launched several raids at dawn today, targeting the town of Al-Safari in the Baalbek district and the heights of the East Lebanon Mountains in the outskirts of the town of Jinta in the Shaara district in eastern Lebanon.

Last night, enemy warplanes launched two raids, the first targeting the town of Al-Taybeh on the Deir Saryan road, and the second the town of Al-Adisa in the south, while the outskirts of the town of Zabqin were subjected to Israeli artillery shelling.

During the night, the Israeli enemy forces also fired light bombs in the airspace of the heights of the town of Shebaa and over the villages of the western and central sectors, all the way to the outskirts of the towns of Al-Mansouri, Majdal Zun and Al-Sha’iyatiya.

Yesterday, the Lebanese resistance shot down an armed Israeli enemy drone over Lebanese territory, and in response to its attacks, it targeted several of its sites on the border with occupied Palestine.

In another development, the Lebanese resistance today targeted Kila barracks and the Yawaf site belonging to the Israeli enemy, in response to its attacks on the Bekaa region in eastern Lebanon.

The resistance said in a statement :”In support of our steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza Strip and in support of their valiant and honorable resistance, and in response to the enemy’s attacks on the Bekaa region, our resistors targeted, before noon today, the headquarters of the air and missile defense command in the Kila barracks and the missile and artillery base in Yoaf with dozens of Katyusha rockets.”

The Israeli enemy renewed its attacks at dawn today on Lebanese villages and towns, and its warplanes launched several raids, targeting the town of Al-Safari in the Baalbek district, and the heights of the eastern Lebanon mountain range outside the town of Jinta in the Shaara district, eastern Lebanon.
