Israeli occupation commits genocide in Gaza Strip, says Czech MP

Prague, (ST) – Member of the European Parliament for the Czech Republic Ivan David affirmed that the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation entity in Gaza Strip can only be described as genocide that takes place amidst the completely silence of the West.

David clarified in a post on social media that the Israeli occupation has killed tens of thousands of Palestinian civilians and almost leveled Gaza to the ground, while millions have been displaced from their homes and the occupation is now trying to starve them. He added that despite all this, some countries justify this criminal violence as “security considerations”.

In turn, the Czech initiative, “Not in Our Name” affirmed in a statement that what the Israeli occupation is doing against the Palestinians in Gaza clearly contradicts the orders of the International Court of Justice in The Hague, which are considered mandatory and which clearly stipulated “an end to all operations that have the characteristics of annihilation, but this order was not implemented”, the Czech initiative added.

the Czech initiative also said: The Zionist entity is not satisfied with that, but rather escalated the tension through the unprecedented attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, which required a strong Iranian response. the initiative referred that the goal of this Israeli attack was to divert attention from the failure in Gaza, and to gain sympathy of the people of western countries that decreased due to the practices of the Israeli occupation.

The initiative called on the Czech government to stop its support for the Zionist entity, warning that this blind support makes it a partner in the responsibility for the crimes committed in Gaza

The initiative called on Czech citizens to participate in the new march in solidarity with the Palestinian people, which it will be organized tomorrow, Sunday, in central Prague.
