Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – Muhammad Abdel Ghafour, a citizen from the Al-Mawasi area, west of the city of Khan Yunis, south of Gaza Strip told his story to a SANA reporter in the light of the occupation’s aggression that has continued for more than five months on the Strip. He said that they were sleeping inside the displacement tent in the Al-Mawasi before the Israeli death missiles rained down on them and killed 14 members of his family.
Abdel Ghafour said that the occupation’s shells and missiles are constantly falling on the Al-Mawasi area, which extends from the west of Khan Yunis to the city of Rafah in the south of Gaza Strip, and hundreds of thousands of displaced and afflicted people who have lost their homes reside there. He indicated that the martyrs in the region are dying and starving in the light of the occupation’s continued siege and prevention of the flow of food supplies, infant formula and medicine to the Strip for the sixth month in a row.
Ashraf Abu Lihia, a displaced person in the Al-Mawasi area says: Whoever survived the Israeli bombing is killed by hunger and thirst. Shells fall everywhere. Children live in constant terror and fear. The area has turned into a miserable area where death spreads among the tents of the displaced as a result of the ongoing genocidal war.
